Auto-Renewal & Billing

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges occur automatically based on your payment method (Apple ID for App Store subscriptions, or your saved payment method for website subscriptions).

Billing Cycle

All subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription period starts immediately upon purchase and renews on the same date each month. You'll receive an email receipt for each billing cycle.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. You'll be notified via email before any price changes take effect. If you don't wish to continue at the new price, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

Payment Security

App Store: All payments are processed securely through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID. We never store or have access to your payment information.

Website: All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll retain access until then.

App Store Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription directly from the ORA app or through iOS Settings:

Option 1: From the ORA App

  1. 1. Open the ORA app
  2. 2. Go to SettingsSubscriptions
  3. 3. Tap "Manage Subscription" to open your subscription management page

Option 2: From iOS Settings

  1. 1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
  2. 2. Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)
  3. 3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. 4. Select "ORA" and tap "Cancel Subscription"

Website Subscriptions

To cancel a website subscription purchased via Stripe:

  1. 1. Open the ORA app on any device
  2. 2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. 3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. 4. Tap "Manage Subscription" to access your subscription settings
  5. 5. Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription

Refund policies vary depending on your payment method:

App Store Refunds

Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple:

Refunds are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

Website Refunds

For website subscriptions purchased via Stripe:

  • Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Refunds processed within 5-10 business days

We typically provide refunds for technical issues or billing errors.

When will I be charged?

You'll be charged immediately upon subscribing. Subsequent charges occur on the same date each month for monthly subscriptions.

Can I change my plan?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and you'll be charged or credited proportionally.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel, you'll retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll revert to the free plan.

Can I restore my subscription on another device?

App Store: Use the "Restore Purchases" button in the app. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and works across all your Apple devices.

Website: Sign in to the app with the same email address used for purchase. Your subscription will automatically sync.

Can I switch between App Store and website subscriptions?

Yes! You can subscribe through either method. If you already have an App Store subscription, you can cancel it and subscribe via the website (or vice versa). Both methods provide the same features and access.

Which payment method should I use?

App Store: Best for iOS users who prefer managing subscriptions through Apple. Works seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices.

Website: Best if you want to use a credit card directly, manage billing through our platform, or use the app on non-Apple devices.

Do you offer free trials?

We offer a free tier with limited features. Paid subscriptions start immediately upon purchase. Check the app for any promotional offers or limited-time trial periods.

What happens if payment fails?

App Store: Apple will attempt to charge your payment method. If payment fails, you'll receive notifications and your subscription may be paused until payment is successful.

Website: Stripe will attempt to charge your saved payment method. If payment fails, you'll receive email notifications. After multiple failed attempts, your subscription may be cancelled.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes! You can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be charged the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Changes can be made in the app settings.

What devices can I use ORA on?

ORA is available on iPhone and iPad through the App Store. Website subscriptions work on any device where you can access the ORA app. Your subscription syncs across all devices when you sign in with the same account.

Subscription Access: Your subscription provides access to premium features in the ORA app. You must download and sign in to the app to use your subscription.

Account Required: You must create an ORA account to subscribe. Your subscription is tied to your account email address.

Single User: Each subscription is for one user account. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

Data & Privacy: Your subscription data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal information.
